In this two day workshop you can pick one of three custom designed furniture grade wood substrates to mosaic. Select the Big Beautiful Bird, Guitar, or Snowman. Each is roughly 17” with a 3/4” depth, perfect to add a vitreous tile trim all the way around. The Bird also has a raised wing to add dimension.
You can mosaic these with almost any kind of material e.g. stained glass, tile, jewelry parts, beads, chain etc. Debra will help you design your piece, teach you how to cut glass, how and when to use various adhesives and how to finish your work through grouting and polishing. The hanging hardware is already installed so you can go home with a beautiful work of art ready to hang.

bin of costume jewelry, filler beads, stained glass scraps, tiles

You Bring:
stained glass/tiles if you want a specific color I may not have
any mixed media beads or parts and pieces you want to add
